The Endocrine Surgery service at the Lahey Clinic provides experienced surgical capabilities for the treatment
of disorders or tumors of the endocrine glands of the body, including parathyroid, thyroid, adrenal, and pancreatic organs.
The latest techniques and innovative technologies are available to enable the best surgery possible with the optimal
outcomes and the least difficulties for the patient.
Prior to undergoing surgery, many patients seek information regarding their condition and an understanding of
the mechanisms and risks of the surgical procedure that will be required. Although not everyone will come to see us
for surgery, as a source of valid information, hopefully this site will be able to allay any anxiety and concerns for these
patients prior to any surgery no matter where they have it for their endocrine disorder.
